I love seeing the world through others' eyes and experiences

I flipped the book open at 5:30 am with the intent to read one or two passages. Lo and behold, two hours later I am still reading it. I love seeing the world through others' eyes and experiences. We are all deeply complex yet exceedingly simple people. So many of these passages drive home that point. A great book for anyone interested in this mystique we call "life."

A couple of years ago, I made a pledge to myself that I was going to stop dwelling on the past and stop trying to predict the future and do my best to live in the moment and be grateful for what I have. Imagine my surprise when, approximately one year later, I was asked to submit a week's worth of "aha" moments to this book of days. "Wide Awake, Every Week" is a wonderful collection of those "aha" moments we can experience in life every day if we just take a moment to truly tune into what's going on around us. I am amazed by the variety of experiences presented in these pages and, at the same time, amazed at how much we all have in common. This is a book I will read again and again. Give it to someone you love.
