I can relate to this book, I have been molest by my step father, rape by my brother in law , beaten by a boy friend that cause me to loose 4 babies, had a mom that cared more about her man than children. This book has it all. It has helped me even more than I could imagine , it was a gift to me. So I en courage anyone that been through any of these things , please get and read this book. It has brought tears memories and yes my husband has listen to me read to him and listened to my stories after being together and married for 21 years. It's opened so many doors for me. Thank you for writing and publishing this book.

The best book you will buy this year.

Although I am one of the writers in this book I read everyone's stories too and I must say this is one fantastic book. You will get great joy and comfort from reading this book as well as being entertained. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!!!
All I had until now was the digital version of this book but I have to tell you, actually holding the book in my hand is much better. I suggest you get it in both formats. Digital is convenient but to actually hold a book in your hand and be able to read it anywhere has it's own rewards.

This book is a fantastic collection of talented writers who have expressed their pain from their past, mental illness, grief, etc through various forms of writing. The poems are very insightful and give the reader a glimpse into the authors' healing heart. The short stories are well written and keep the reader engaged to the end! This book is a must read!
