Excellent meditation guide for beginners

Meditation is something that I have struggled with for years. I know that it is supposed to be a "practice" but I have always wanted someone to just explain it to me in plain English before I made more of an effort with it. Authors Om Vijay and Nikita Patil have done just that with their "Meditation for Beginners". A wonderful guide that explains to the reader what meditation is, gives the benefits of it, and then provides some simple ways to get started. There are some great exercises here that are well explained and easy to do, as well as some great personal stories included. Highly recommended read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book for the wisdom it contains. I’m one of those people who could never get started with meditation. I tried … tried … tried … and failed miserably. And of course, like so many … quit. Now I know why I failed time and time again. The moment I sat this book down I went into meditation and absolutely loved it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with meditation. I’m grateful to the author for sharing this information with me. I look forward to book 2 in the series.
